Job Description:

SENFI Swiss GmbH A subsidiary of SCG Chemicals Co. Ltd. is seeking a Global Segment Manager to drive business growth in the Chemicals Catalyst market for Functional Materials Business.  This is a global role with people leadership responsibilities in Europe and Asia, leading a team comprised of application engineers, and researchers in a matrixed fashion with the technology manager.

 

Lead marketing and business development efforts supporting growth of the chemicals catalysts product line. Deliver top line revenue growth by leading multi-functional teams tasked with identifying customer opportunities and delivering solutions that meet or exceed customer needs. This role is directly responsible for growth in the chemicals catalysts market. 

 

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Successfully launch & grow the chemicals catalysts business.
  • Working with the Commercial Director, develop and implement the Marketing plan including customer needs, ongoing market analysis, market segmentation, channel strategy, product road map, and pricing.
  • Define target market segments and prepare segment-specific value propositions, brand plans and collateral using evidence-based proof points and voice of customer.
  • Build a pipeline of scalable and repeatable customer focused opportunities in each target segment.
  • Provide input and analysis on global marketing strategies and tactics
  • Be ready to provide input on new markets and technologies
  • Participates in business strategy development with the Global Leadership Team, including the Global Business Director, Global Sales and Marketing Managers and Supply Chain Manager
  • Owns the development and implementation of technology strategies and the detailed technology program roadmaps that support those business strategies
  • Champions integrated technology initiatives throughout the organization
  • Develops and maintains relationship with partners at strategic level (customers, vendors, universities).
